Alumni Orchestral Lists 1957 - 2008

The Alumni list of the Australian Youth Orchestra reads like an impressive who’s who, past and present, of Australian musicians on the local and international scene. Many professional Australian musicians have been a part of the Australian Youth Orchestra at some stage during their musical careers. Many other AYO participants have gone on to pursue successful, fulfilling careers and have made significant contributions outside the arts as well.

The Australian Youth Orchestra is tremendously proud of all the fine young musicians who have played amongst its ranks since its first performance in 1957. It is an honour for AYO to have played an essential role in the development of talent in its offering of outstanding opportunities to the young musicians of this country.
