AYO Regional Residencies, formerly known as Young Australian Concert Artists (YACA), give selected musicians a unique opportunity to live the experience of a touring ensemble.  Your chamber music skills will be developed through receiving tuition from highly regarded professionals in an intimate and intensive manner, and will include a variety of performances throughout the residency.  The programs also include outreach activities, where you will instruct and motivate other young musicians in regional communities.

In 2010 AYO Regional Residencies will feature a brass quintet and a string quartet, from the ranks of the AYO’s leading instrumentatlists and, and the AYO Ensemble-in-Residence program, which expands on this model by selecting an established string quartet to complete month-long residencies at a regional music institution.
