Orchestral Management 

No other course offers this kind of intense practical experience in all aspects of orchestral operations. You’ll be shown the skills and secrets of planning, foresight and management that goes into the smooth operation of concerts and events. The knowledge and experience you gain will equip you with a secure foundation for a career in orchestral management.

Words About Music

Music needs people who can talk and write about it with flair and insight. This program is a hothouse of writing, talking and thinking about music. With a hands-on approach you’ll work online, as well as through radio and print mediums – getting your passion for music out there with precisely the right words.

Sound Production

Producing the sound of orchestras and ensembles for broadcast and recording is an art. This program equips you with the technical know-how that is essential for sound production and mixing. You’ll also learn interview and editing techniques associated with broadcasts. It is a unique hands-on experience leading to professional quality outcomes.

Composition

Some say composing can be a lonely profession but for these two weeks it’s exactly the opposite: you’ll be among colleagues and friends in a shared endeavour of music-making. With an emphasis on practical performance outcomes, you’ll see your work come to life as it is rehearsed and performed by the musicians and tutors of the Orchestral Program.
