Whether you’ve pursued a career as a professional musician or embarked on a road less travelled, the memories of being an AYO participant stay with you. Help us inspire the next generation of Australian musicians by joining AYO’s giving program. You can:

  • Donate to the AYO to help young musicians reach new heights, by clicking here or calling (03) 8420 5710.
  • Click here or call (03) 8420 5710 to find out more about how you can leave a bequest to the AYO, to ensure the participation and professional training of future young musicians, and the enjoyment of future AYO programs by the next generation.

As AYO Alumnus Kwong Lee Dow, former Melbourne University Vice-Chancellor says:

"I know from first hand experience, and from observing many student generations, how beneficial AYO programs are in developing skills, confidence, performance security and leadership. AYO equips people with a range of life skills and helps people transition to professional competence. So I am proud to support the AYO."

Interested in tutoring with AYO?

AYO is always looking for quality tutors to train and mentor our outstanding young musicians and ensembles attending AYO programs.

AYO tutors must be currently employed in the professional music industry. To register your interest, please email development@ayo.com.au.

Interested in joining the AYO staff team as a residential coordinator?

AYO provides a high level of duty of care on all its residential programs for participants and staff alike. We regularly seek appropriate casual staff to work together with AYO staff to deliver programs across the country. Applicants must be available to travel and attend complete programs as required.

If you are interested in working as a residential coordinator please email Warren Lenthall, Operations Manager, at WarrenLenthall@ayo.com.au.

Anyone engaged by AYO to work as a tutor or residential coordinator will need to be able to complete the necessary Working With Children checks prior to attending a program, to meet AYO’s employment guidelines.
