AYO 2021 Programs
COVID-19 Information

As musicians from around Australia apply for our 2021 programs, we are closely monitoring the restrictions around travel and large gatherings across Australia that may impact AYO programs over the coming year. We appreciate the continued support and patience that our community has given us over the past months as we have worked to finalise the details of our 2021 offerings.

We have made some adjustments to our 2021 programs which include the creation of two new, temporary programs, AYO Autumn Music Camp and AYO Spring Music Camp. The two camps will be held in lieu of the traditional AYO National Music Camp and AYO Young Symphonists in 2021. AYO’s 2021 programs have been designed to ensure the utmost safety and wellbeing of our participants. Please note that the programs offered in 2021 will only go ahead if it is safe for them to do so.

We are aware that the pandemic has imposed a financial burden upon many people all over Australia, and wish to reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that all eligible musicians are able to participate in our programs regardless of financial and geographic barriers. We have a generous financial assistance program which helps participants offset the program fees and travel costs associated with attending AYO programs. We would also like to reassure applicants that, in the event that we have to cancel any of our 2021 programs, any program fees that have been paid will be refunded in full.
