Donate now and give Australia's best young musical talent
a global stage to perform on.

Every three years, Australia’s most talented young musicians travel the globe as cultural ambassadors on the AYO International Tour. Inspired by world-renowned conductors and guest artists within the walls of historic venues, these musicians are given the greatest possible opportunity to reach new heights and introduce global audiences to Australian talent.

Kirsty Hilton was only 17 when she travelled to Europe with AYO, and that opportunity firmly placed her on the pathway to becoming a professional musician. Read about Kirsty’s experiences here.

Please donate today and help provide young musicians with extraordinary experiences on their tour to Europe and China next year.

'The AYO International Tour was immeasurably beneficial to literally every aspect of my life.'    – Oliver Shermacher, clarinet

2019 AYO International Tour

The 2019 AYO International Tour will be AYO's 23rd international tour, and it marks 40 years since AYO first performed in China in 1979 – becoming the first Australian orchestra to do so. During this ambitious month of music-making, musicians will be joined by inspirational Polish conductor, Krzysztof UrbaƄski and renowned soloists Jan Lisiecki and Daniel Müller-Schott for a two-week European residency before performing in Germany, France, The Netherlands and China before returning to Australia with a triumphant homecoming concert at the Sydney Opera House.

‘Every performance we continue to grow and improve. Through this experience I have made many friendships with other passionate musicians from all over Australia… these memories will stay with me for the rest of my career’

– Nathan Ellul, violin
