AYO 2023 Programs
COVID-19 Information

AYO is aware of and closely monitoring changes to public health settings and reviewing advice from Commonwealth and State authorities in relation to managing risks of COVID-19 transmission in our programs, as well as potential restrictions around travel and large gatherings. The safety and well-being of our applicants remains a top priority, and adjustments to our programs will be made accordingly.

We acknowledge that cancellations may be frustrating and upsetting for participants, and we appreciate the support and patience our community continues to give us. Please note that any program fees that have been paid will be refunded in full if a program cancellation before the start date. We will also explore the possibility of rescheduling the program, should it be suitable to do so.

Due to the uncertainty that living with COVID-19 has brought, we will be announcing all additional information, including guest artists and repertoire in October.

We are aware that the pandemic has imposed a financial burden upon many people, and we wish to reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that all eligible musicians are able to participate in our programs regardless of financial and geographic barriers. We have a generous financial assistance program  which helps participants offset the program fees and travel costs associated with attending AYO programs.
