Content Coordinator

AYO is seeking a full-time Content Coordinator to join the team in Sydney.

The entry-level role will create engaging content for the AYO community. This role helps AYO achieve our communications, fundraising and brand objectives by inspiring our participants, alumni and supporters, connecting them to our organisation and demonstrating the impact of their support. You will achieve this by seeking out and developing unique content for use across AYO’s communication platforms and supporting the implementation of AYO’s calendar of events and activities.

It is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated individual who would love to work for an arts organisation.

The Australian Youth Orchestra relies on a network of volunteers across Australia. Most of the volunteer work occurs during an AYO program or activity and can include:

  • Administrative support in the AYO's Sydney office 
  • Artistic Program personnel work on our programs
  • Organising and bowing music parts for rehearsal and performance in the two months preceding an AYO program (music knowledge is essential here)
