Philanthropy Manager


THE ROLE

Join our fundraising team in Sydney to play an important role in AYO administration. This hands-on role is responsible for managing a portfolio of donors, Trust & Foundations and managing other key activities and events. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate relationship manager to support the next generation of musicians and take the next step in their philanthropy career.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing relationships of Annual Donors and acting as the organisation’s main point of contact
  • Contribute to and deliver annual and bespoke fundraising campaigns
  • Prospect research, management and cultivation
  • Lead the management of AYO’s Trust & Foundation portfolio
  • Contribute to and collaborate on CRM process and capability improvements

The Australian Youth Orchestra relies on a network of volunteers across Australia. Most of the volunteer work occurs during an AYO program or activity and can include:

  • Administrative support in the AYO's Sydney office 
  • Artistic Program personnel work on our programs
  • Organising and bowing music parts for rehearsal and performance in the two months preceding an AYO program (music knowledge is essential here)
