We are home! What an incredible four weeks we’ve had on the 2019 AYO International Tour. Thank you to ABC Classic for the summary of our past month of touring.
Concert 9 - Homecoming Concert, Sydney Opera House

What a way to end the 2019 AYO International Tour - with a homecoming concert at Sydney Opera House! Bravo to Krzysztof Urbański, Jan Lisiecki, and the 88 incredible orchestra members on stage for such an unforgettable night; and a huge thank you to each and every person who played their part in such a successful tour across the globe.

It’s been 40 years since the AYO became the first orchestra to perform in China, and tonight we’ll celebrate this milestone with a concert at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing.

Concert 5 - Kurhaus Wiesbaden

Another wonderful performance this evening in the beautiful surrounds of Kurhaus in Wiesbaden, Germany. The building is steeped in history, and was originally a spa house that has served as the social centre of the town since the early 20th century. Thank you for having us Rheingau Musik Festival!

Performing the first concert on the 2019 International Tour at Festspeile! We were joined by world-renowned cellist, Daniel Müller-Schott performing Shostakovich’s first cello concerto with AYO. The venue at Festspeile was a unique experience for the musicians playing in a historic barn turned concert hall in Germany.
