About the Program

The heart of AYO National Music Camp is the Orchestral Program. For two weeks you will be engaged in thrilling musical pursuits creating memorable performances of superb orchestral music, honing your skills and knowledge of orchestral music-making in combination with other exceptional young musicians.

You will perform in one of the two full symphony orchestras or the string chamber orchestra. The culminating concerts are sure to bring the house down, and the buzz of it will stay with you forever.



William Conway

William Conway was born and grew up in Glasgow, Scotland and is well known as both conductor and cellist. 


Christopher Seaman 

Christopher Seaman is in his thirteenth season as Music Director of the Rochester Philharmonic. He was Music Director of the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra and also Conductor-in-Residence with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.

Mats Zetterqvist

Born in Sweden, Mats Zetterqvist has been Guest Leader for the Chamber Orchestra of Europe since 1994 and Principal 2nd Violin since 2009.
